The Continental Bully Registry (CBR) is devoted to the continued protection, betterment and advancement of the American Bully.
Established in September, 2014 by Meagan Porter. In February 2015, Judy Cook was appointed President. Mrs. Cook quickly assembled her core team and appointed Willie Guerrero, Vice-President and Michael Cook, Director of Judges. Continental Bully Registry (CBR) is a breed-specific (American Bully) performance-dog registry, registering dogs from all 50 states and foreign countries. CBR prides itself on its family-oriented, friendly, educational events, with that being said children of all ages will be in attendance, therefore our functions are drug and alcohol free.
The CBR has supported the "Junior Handler and The Youth are the Future for the Breed" philosophy through its events and programs since its inception. As a departure from other registries that place emphasis on a dogs looks, CBR events are designed for dogs that look and perform equally well.
The CBR strives for their sanctioned shows and events to be positive and a family oriented environment; therefore exhibitors should do everything in their power to maintain the integrity of the CBR.
Part of our vision is to have events where show dogs can compete. In addition to our purebred dog registry, CBR is working on implementing the Senior Dog and Rescued Bully programs. The Rescued Bully class is open to rescued and neutered/spayed dogs, purebred dogs of unknown pedigree, purebred dogs with disqualifying faults or bullies rescued from an animal shelter or rescue.
Our event emphasis is on the owner, handler and breeder, and their bullies. The environment is friendly, open, fun, educational and competitive. While maintaining a degree of difficulty to preserve the integrity of the breed, CBR events and titles are attainable accomplishments for the amateur and professional trainer and handler.
The physical home for Continental Bully Registry, is located in the Dillon, South Carolina, with satellite offices in Trinity, North Carolina and Long Island, New York.
As we all know, CBR is Family. That's the way it was developed since its inception, and that's the way it remains today.
